Since its formation, Deer Park Community Advisory Council community members have advised plants on what the community expects in terms of communications and plant coordination with the City of Deer Park and surrounding communities during a significant industry incident such as a fire, explosion, or toxic release as well as during other noticeable incidents.
DPCAC members encourage local community members need to make use of the links that follow to obtain facts during an incident and to take appropriate action when needed.
Call the CAER Line (281-476-2237) to listen to messages posted by plants that have had an emergency or a noticeable incident that may concern the community. The CAER Line will also take you to the Odor Network. Both are sponsored by East Harris County Manufacturers Association (EHCMA). Most DPCAC plants belong to EHCMA.
